I haven't posted in a while, so I thought I would just randomly talk about what I'm up to~ At the moment, I've been addicted to this dressing game. It's a cute app with lots of outfits <3 It's a nice time waster. I've been so busy that I haven't been able to watch any anime or really anything at all. I've been wanting to catch up on Tokyo Ghoul. I watched the first season and then before knew it four seasons were already out (>.<)! I've also really been wanting to watch the second season of Psycho-Pass. I'm a total Ginoza fangirl haha~ I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Psycho-Pass has a VN and now I gotta check that out too. Not to mention that I want to play Sweet Pool, a VN by Nitro+Chiral (I'm not super into BL, but Nitro consistently has great writing and characters). Hi random people reading this :) I haven't posted for a while, but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy. I've been posting up a Fanfic called Mist's Legacy on Fanfiction.net and DeviantArt . It's based on the anime Naruto/Naruto Shippuden. It's a romance fanfic with the main couple being my OC, Mizushima Aiko, and Uchiha Sasuke. I decided to draw the couple mid conversation in one of Orochimaru's bases. I imagine what they’re saying would go something like this: ~~~~~~ Sasuke: I’ve noticed this for a long time now. Why does Kabuto glare at your sash? Aiko: *laughs* Because I shot him down when he insisted I wear that tacky purple belt. Sasuke: *raises an eyebrow* Is that all you did? Guess what? I've decided to post up all of my old fanfic. I'll be going through it and lightly editing it before putting it on DeviantArt and Fanfiction.net . I'm super nervous about this because I've always been overly critical of my writing, but whatever. I used to post fanfic up on Quizilla back in the day before it was bought out. Eventually when Quizilla turned suckish, I took all my work down, got super ambitious, and wanted to create my own fanfic VNs. Basically, right now, I lack the time and the funds to create quality VNs for both Naruto and Death Note. I planned out writing all these paths for each character (which for Naruto is an undertaking haha~), but I decided to put everything on hold and pretty much drop the projects. Instead, I'll focus on my original rpg/VN because honestly I need to generate money (gotta eat, you know~) and I want to make a living off of my art and writing. So recently I got into a novel called Uncertain Magic by Laura Kinsale. It's a fantasy/romance/historical piece and I absolutely adore the characters and admire the way Kinsale weaves her tale. Though Faelan (the hero) calls Roddy (the heroine) "little girl" as a disturbing nickname, I was still enthralled with the story and plot. I have to admit I fell in love a little with Faelan and so this fan art was born! Personally, I'm still not happy with the way this came out (-_-") I went for a semi-realistic art style which isn't something I'm completely comfortable with, but I tried anyways. I tinkered a lot with his face and it still didn't come out as 'realistic' as I wanted it to, but whatever. The picture I created depicts a scene from the novel. Here's some concept art for my character, Jaws. He's a daemon from the capital of Mareterrae (the water kingdom) - Trenton. He's one of the main characters in an rpg / visual novel I'm making. I haven't posted up much (or anything, actually😅)  about my visual novel, but eventually I will! 😁Down below I posted a time-lapse of me digitally painting. *Suddenly gets pushed aside* Jaws: You're in the way. Jaws: I'd like everyone to know that's not my blood. Me: Oh, really? Jaws: Yes, really. It's not my fault the enemy decided to bleed everywhere. They were particularly messy today.

I finished this a few days ago. It's based on the Japanese mythology about Amaterasu hiding in a cave. Apparently Amaterasu hid herself away in a cave due to an argument and refused to come out. Since she's the sun goddess, the world was covered in darkness and evil spirits roamed all over the earth. To lure her out of the cave, the other gods tried many things. They placed a large tree outside the cave and decorated it with magatama, white clothes, and a mirror at its center. In addition, another goddess danced so wildly with a strip-tease routine that the other gods' laughter caused Amaterasu to become curious. She opened her barricaded cave and was distracted by her reflection in the mirror. Eventually she was yanked out of the cave and there was sunlight over the earth once more. Here Amaterasu is entranced by her reflection and is being honored by a priest and priestess below.

This is some new concept art I'm working on for a visual novel and also for a 3D environment I want to make in Unreal Engine. It depicts Trenton, the capital of the Water Kingdom/Mareterrae. Mareterrae is the birthplace of all Daemon. Though most Daemon have only horns and long claws to distinguish them from Runamak (Humans), Daemon are built sturdier and are quite different. For the past few centuries, the two races haven't had the best of relations. They're quite prejudiced against each other due to skirmishes and blood shed on both sides.

Antique Phone by Terra-Essence on Sketchfab Lately I've been 3D modeling more for class and I have to say I'm loving the challenge! I made this antique phone as a final project. I even made a short animation for it in which I had to utilize bones and skinning them to the mesh. It was a headache to figure out, but I'm happy with the results. I still have a lot to learn when it comes to texturing so the seams are kind of obvious, but oh well... I'm still proud of my creation 😁

Just finished a new piece. It's a night scene which I've never painted, but I think it came out decent. I've already posted it on Deviant Art.   I'm randomly taking this Digital tutors class: High-Resolution Game Character Creation Pipeline in ZBrush and Maya .   I'm about halfway following through the lesson while making my own model. Hopefully I can finish and texture it soon so I can post it. School's starting up in a day but hopefully I can keep up with completing my side projects despite my new workload.  

So I discovered my old blog again that I never really quite kept up with... haha... I decided to start it up again. Right now I'm randomly creating 2D digital art while learning more about 3D modeling in general. I still have a visual novel / rpg of the otome variety I want to create (I think I mentioned it already in previous posts). And in those previous posts I had Youtube videos with pictures I painted for said visual novel. Over time I've changed it up and am not going to use any of those photos. 😰 Recently I just got accepted to an online school for Game Art design (SNHU) - I think it should take me about a year and a half to graduate with a Bachelor's. I start next month and I'm pretty excited. 😁 I made a 3D dog modeled off of one of my real dogs from scratch. I call him Explorer Sparky lol. I decided to create a wooden mask for an artist that requested one. This post will be about how I created said mask! I forgot how long it took me to finish carving it as I was doing so on and off (maybe 2-3 weeks). The mask is entirely hand carved, I didn't use any power tools. Because of that, my hand would cramp and there was a lot of stopping lol. If you're ever doing a project like this, just remember to listen to your body and go at a pace comfortable for you, even if you feel you're a little slow. I know I felt like I progressed sluggishly, since this was my first real undertaking trying to create something out of a chunk of wood. So, to get started on my project I needed the material to work on and the right tools. For the raw wood, I salvaged a piece of an old bench that was painted red, faded with age.
